#GIFTED&GRATEFUL....the Vision
As far back as the history of man, creation has been led by extraordinary men of supernatural exploits, these men could be referred to as saviours who at one point or the other when the world needed answers were sent by God to rescue humanity from servitude.
Like Joseph, you find some among the nobles and in the corridors of power, (Gen 14; 38-44), like Moses you find them called by God to serve and lead Gods people (Exd 3:9-10), just like the Priests, you find them in the house of the lord attending to the Lord and the needs of the people (Numbers 3:6-9), like the Levites, the Singers, bringing down the presence of God among men (2kings 3:15, 2Chron 5:13-14).
These were the same set of people revealed to the prophet Joel in Joel 2:2-10: the kind that the world has never seen, I simply refer to them as “Gifted”, but there is this trend amongst many of the gifted today, we are always found to be busy doing what God has called us to do which is not wrong at all, but we rarely find time to come together, take a stock and do what God has called us to be, which above all things is to be Grateful to Him.
Jesus the epitome of all gifting never did anything without being grateful to the father, it is not just in the doing, it is in the being, therein I had this glorious revelation that we are called to be Gifted and Grateful and just as it was in Neh 7:5, It was laid in my heart to gather the Nobles, the Ministers, the Singers and the people to come together and do that which he has called us to be.
Therefore Gifted and Grateful is a gathering of Thankful Worshipers charged with the vision of gratitude and Worship to our God.
